My Inspiration, my sister Debbie.

 

Debbie, my older sister, is my inspiration. She was the absolute artiste in my family.  Her talents straddled myriad of mediums and applications, including acrylic, watercolor, pen & ink, pastel, mixed-media, theater stage design, pottery, jewelry design & fabrication, interior design and architecture.  And she played guitar and xylophone.     

 

In 2008 Debbie left this world as we know it, and we all miss her design and artistry.  But we especially miss her warm heart, kind soul, and generous spirit.      

 

Debbie has always been the reason why I paint and design. To this day, I cannot create anything without being influenced by her.  I miss you and love you Deb.
